Ken and I spent the day yesterday at the NCCC Event in Livonia, layered up, very cold winds but my Corvette still hooked up!! As soon as I saw the WARM tire light, it was GO time!!!!

October 8, 2023 for the Kim Rules 7 Low Speed event at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, MI hosted by Corvette Club of Michigan in honor of Kim Fast. Kim was a beloved young lady and avid autocrosser that lost a battle with leukemia! If you ever visit the NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, KY, the entrance drive leading into the track and the Pavilion are named after her.
A cool crisp morning in the 40s got our day going with temperatures barely touching the low 50s around noon time. Good thing about it, the forecasted rains stayed away for 50 drivers that showed up to play today. Al Chan set up a super smooth flowing fast course. Carolyn McLemore took 1 OFTD while Kristen Lingenfelter took the remaining 6 OFTDS plus the fastest time of the day with a time of 40.569.
On the Men's side, Chris Scafero took 2 OFTDS, Scott Kennedy took 2 OFTDS and yours truly took the remaining 3 OFTDS plus the fastest time of the day with a time of 37.986. Thanks to all the workers from Corvette Club of Michigan for another perfectly organized event.
