National Corvette Museum Bash 2024
An Insider's Dive into the National Corvette Museum Bash 2024
All I have to say is Save the Date for 2025. What an event this past weekend!!
The annual event takes place at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The dates this year were April 25, 2024 – April 27, 2024.
The three days are packed with seminars, plant tours and local excursions. Highlights included Grand Ole Opry – Backstage Tour, Log Still Distillery & Backhome Restaurant and the Casey Jones Distillery & Lunch.
We attended multiple seminars including Bowling Green Assembly Plant Update, Corvette Team Update, and Corvette Today Podcast with Steve Garrett.
On Friday at noon they announced the 2024 Hall of Fame Inductees which was very exciting. Enthusiast inductee Richard Prince, automobile photographer. GM/Chevrolet inductee Tadge Juechter, Corvette Chief Engineer. Racing Inductee Oliver Gavin & Jan Magnussen, Corvette Racing Drivers.
Saturday we took our commitment to the Museum another step forward and joined the Elfi’s Silver Pearl Sisterhood group. What a great group of women!!
Elfi’s Silver Pearl Sisterhood is a women-driven organization that will allow like-minded women to share their love of America’s Sports Car while furthering the mission of the National Corvette Museum. Much like a pearl, each member of this society shines on her own, but together they complement each other beautifully and make an impactful statement. (quoted from the museum website)

Saturday morning was the Ladies Garage Seminar and that was outstanding. Loved meeting the GM girls from several locations including Milford GM Proving Grounds and the Corvette Plant. Fun Corvette Trivia and breakout groups. Very informative two hours including going over the E-ray in depth.
Ken and I had a chance to check out the new exhibit, Luster. Realism and Hyperrealism in contemporary automobile and motorcycle painting. We were both extremely impressed and look forward to touring it again on our next visit.
Both days we had lunch at the Stingray Grill at the museum and highly recommend the Blackberry Grill Cheese and if you're daring the sandwich includes jalapenos.
We're now back at the Car Collection in Brighton, Michigan getting ready for the Competition Corvette Club Cruise to our location this Saturday, May 4th. Hundreds of Corvettes will be visiting and we look forward to seeing everyone!!
Our Next blog will highlight some of the new Corvette Apparel that has arrived at the Collection including Corvette Racing GT3.R Hats, Coolers and Ladies Gear.
