NCCC Ohio Regional Banquet
NCCC Ohio Regional Banquet
It was truly an honor to be invited to speak at the NCCC Regional Banquet on Saturday, March 15th in Avon, Ohio. The event was filled good friends, good food and lots of awards. Ken and I were truly honored to be invited as guest speakers.
We drove to the event in our Continental C8 Corvette, equipped with a LPE supercharger and other Lingenfelter upgrades which was proudly displayed in the ballroom.
After dinner and dessert, Ken took the stage to discuss the company’s heritage, ongoing projects, and future plans at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.
I followed by discussing my experience in racing, including my recent participation in the Level 2 class at Spring Mountain Motorsports. I also shared my involvement with Women in Motorsports, and details on the upcoming Bash Celebration at the Corvette Museum April 24-26th highlighting the Ladies Garage Workshop on Friday from 9am-11am.
In addition, there was also a surprise guest speaker, none other than Phil Zak, Executive Design Director Global Chevrolet. Wonderful presentation bringing us all up to date on all the exciting developments in the company.
The Ohio region is thriving as one of the most active regions in the country, and we were proud to be part of the celebration.
Great picture of Ken & Dave from the Ohio region. He is famous at the track for his delicious cookies and brownies he brings which are always a highlight of any track day. We always look forward to seeing both him and his wife.
